When you go to Disney World, Disney World Hotels are half of your stay. Of course, you will visit all the attractions, but if you want to rest, you want a nice, cozy place nearby. Remember this is a vacation of a lifetime, so choose carefully.
The 5 different Disney Resort Hotels
There are 5 different ways to stay when you visit Disney World. Each of them has their own qualities and will each be able to choose from about 4 different locations.
- Disney Deluxe Villas: cost $ 300 and more / night
- Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels: cost $ 270 and more / night
- Disney Moderate Resort Hotels: cost $ 170 and more / night
- Disney Value Resort Hotels: starts at about $ 80 and up / night
- Disney Campgrounds starts at about $ 40 a night, and of course, you need to bring your own RV. Considering it just like camping. You can enjoy the outdoors, with the comfort of your RV just steps away.
The top 2 levels are much the same. Except that the villas everywhere have 2 bedrooms, up to 3 bedrooms, with an in-house washer and dryer (perfect for a week stay). This does provide more luxury, of course at a price increase.
The only ones that aren’t really a hotel are the campgrounds, but it gives you something extra if you decide to drive it to Disney World, so instead of parking nowhere, just use this place. It’s just like camping.
What do you want?
As you would expect, the lower the costs, the fewer amenities. For example, you cannot get room service in all resorts. It really depends on your budget and how spoiled you want to be.
On the other hand, even the Value resorts have a boat full of options for you.
The best reasons to choose a Disney World Resort
The first reason is that all your transport problems have been removed! Disney World has a beautiful park transportation system that is included in the price of your stay. Don’t get lost, just relax and leave the driving to Disney behind! (If you’ve ever tried to navigate Disney’s roads, you know how great this is!)
The other reason, and probably the most important, is the absolute magic of staying at a Disney resort. Disney World staff are committed to being friendly, helpful, and resourceful. No rude servers or sloppy housekeeping here! Instead, you are greeted with a smile every time.
